ABOUT US
THE UGLY FOOD TRUCK
We are four Nutrition and Food majors from Sacramento State who want to help reduce food waste and educate others about ugly produce.
As nutritionists we are passionate about food, how its procured, and how it impacts the earth. We weren't sure how we could combine these passions while sparking interest in millennials to engage and see the importance of local food.

After some brainstorming we realized the best way to get people involved is through their stomachs. But we didn't want to open a restaurant, we wanted something as mobile and fast moving as the millennial culture itself, and so The Ugly Food Truck grew wheels. We are on the move, can you find us?
